By Mary Noll Christine P. Caadyang POPE FRANCIS prompted journalists Thursday the importance of respecting human dignity in practicing the profession, saying criticism and denunciation of wrongdoing can be legitimate but must always value life and worth.
In his address before the Italian National Council of the Order of Journalists at the Clementine Hall in Vatican, the Pontiff said respect for human dignity is particularly important in journalism because behind the reports of events are sentiments and lives of the persons involved.
