By Kate Danielle G. Dolot THE DE LA SALLE (DLSU) Green Archers kept its record clean as they hammer down the National University (NU) Bulldogs, 75-66, in the UAAP Season 79 men’s basketball at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Sunday.
DLSU improved to a 4-0 record while the Bulldog slid down to 2-1. Jeron Teng went fiery on the last quarter as he delivered back to back baskets to increase the lead by three, 60-57, continuing their momentum up to the last buzzer. By Kate Danielle G. The Blue Eagles threatened to within 52-51 in the start of fourth period but Aaron Black and Thirdy Ravena took turns in putting the team’s finishing touches and pulled the necessary stops in the last 10 minutes.
