By Erma R. Edera THE NATIONAL University (NU) Bulldogs escaped the late comeback attempt of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers with a seven-point lead, 75-68, in the UAAP Season 79 men’s basketball tournament at the Araneta Coliseum on Sunday.
UST recovered and discharged 16 points to cut the deficit to nine with 69-60 within the last three minutes of the game, but still fell short due to continuous free throws fired by NU.
